PIXELBLOOM: Timeless Butterflies

ARTECHOUSE Studio

PIXELBLOOM: Timeless Butterflies places audiences in a vivid Butterfly dream that begins with the signaling of spring—the blooming of the cherry blossoms. From there, the dream travels through various panoramas of exotic spring blooms as part of a flock of butterflies, ending up in a hurricane of petals—a scene that touches the viscera of the audience, reminding them of the fleeting exuberance of nature’s exquisite gifts.

Blooming Strings

ARTECHOUSE Studio

Blooming Strings transforms the floor into a dynamic, interactive musical instrument. Originally conceived for LG Display’s unique transparent OLEDs, this version reimagines the experience on the ground. Visitors become the players, where each step makes flowers bloom and produce sound. As you move across the vine-covered path, your movement strums these blossoms, coaxing them to “sing” in a symphony of notes.
The installation explores magnetism and motion, drawing inspiration from Monarch butterflies’ migratory patterns. Here, the visitor’s movement guides the energy flow, much like how the butterflies follow unseen magnetic fields. What once was a fleeting natural phenomenon is now a digital symphony powered by interaction and the beauty of nature.

Bloomstorm – Into the Petals

ARTECHOUSE Studio

Bloomstorm – Into the Petals expands the final moment of PIXELBLOOM into a fully immersive media experience. Set within the Infinity Room, with mirrored walls and a floor projection, the space envelops visitors in a continuous storm of cascading flower petals, blurring the boundaries between reflection, motion, and scale. As guests step into the room, they are no longer watching the storm; they are inside it.
Drawing inspiration from the fleeting beauty of cherry blossom season and large-scale artistic interventions—such as the choreographed 2014 flower-petal installation in Costa Rica created for a Sony campaign—Bloomstorm transforms ephemerality into an awe-inspiring, contemplative environment.

An interactive fusion of physical play and digital creation…
Clay Pillar
is an interactive installation that merges tactile creativity with real-time AI-generated visuals. This fusion of voice, movement, and material transforms simple gestures into immersive visual expressions, offering a playful, hands-on encounter with the possibilities of human-AI collaboration.

Bounce Field & Terra Bloom

ARTECHOUSE Studio

Bounce Field is a playful, physics-driven interactive where digital forms respond with springy, elastic motion to visitor movement. As guests step closer or shift their position, the field pushes back—bouncing, rippling, and reshaping in real time. Lighthearted and tactile, the experience transforms simple presence into a moment of kinetic delight, inviting visitors of all ages to move, explore, and play on a living digital surface.

Terra Bloom is an interactive digital installation in which visitor presence triggers bursts of floral growth from earthen cubes. As viewers approach and move through the space, flowers unfurl, vines weave outward, and color spreads across the structure—transforming solid, soil-like forms into living, blooming ecosystems. Rooted in the contrast between earth and emergence, the piece invites visitors to activate growth through simple movement, revealing nature as a responsive, evolving system shaped by human presence.

UFO Catcher

ARTECHOUSE Studio

Originally produced by ARTECHOUSE Studio for Renewal 2121 as part of the “Sleepless Alleyway,” inspired by bustling street culture, this interactive adaptation emulates UFO Catcher in a simple, gamified form.

Blooming Orb

ARTECHOUSE Studio

Blooming Orb features a field of luminous, reflective spheres that respond fluidly to visitor movement. Proximity causes the orbs to ripple, glow, and transform, while bees and honeycomb patterns emerge and disperse across the screen. This focused, screen-based interaction distills the original immersive environment into a playful, responsive moment—inviting visitors of all ages to awaken a living digital surface through motion alone.

Blooming Tree

ARTECHOUSE Studio

Blooming Tree invites visitors to activate a digital cherry blossom landscape through movement and presence. As viewers approach, branches bloom and shift in real time, accompanied by gentle sound and the motion of bees weaving through the canopy.
Reimagined for Houston’s vertical screens, the piece preserves the meditative, seasonal spirit of the original installation while offering an intimate, touchless interaction that brings growth and renewal to life.

Crystal Bloom

ARTECHOUSE Studio

Crystal Bloom invites viewers to drift into an endless wreath of iridescent glass flora and fantastical koi.
Visitors move through as a crystalline dragonfly. Part botanical, part dreamscape, the dragonfly’s responsive journey transforms observation into participation, creating a gentle dialogue between body and image.
